Founded in 1968, the University of Calicut has become a true beacon signals and lead millions of young men and women to a meaningful education. At present, there has been the largest university in Kerala with 25 graduate departments and research under his direct control and 191 affiliated colleges spread over five districts in northern Kerala-Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thrissur and Wayanad - serves approximately 2.75 lakh students every year.
