Twelve people were killed Wednesday in two explosions in the volatile North Caucasus region of Dagestan in Russia, one of which was caused by a suicide bomber, the researchers said.
The first explosion was detonated in a police car was out of the building of the local interior ministry in the Dagestani city of Kizlyar, said.
Just 20 minutes later, a suicide bomber wearing a police uniform blew himself up while investigators and police were investigating the scene of the first explosion, the statement said.
